Meet C2C Neighbor Matt Henderson (Monisha & Myles Avery)

C2C Neighbor since: 2014

Where I call home: Brooklyn, NY

Has love for:
Photography and film, live events, concerts, music, the “game-changer” who arrived on November 11, 2015, my family, and Haïti

What does being a C2C Neighbor mean to you?
I think being a C2C Neighbor is unique because – having been to the communities we serve, met the people, lived with them, eaten with them and worked with them – I’ve been able to support not just a community I’ve heard about, but one I’ve lived with and learned to love and appreciate over the past few years. The money we’re able to generate as C2C Neighbors goes directly to them so they can continue the work and realize dreams and goals and visions for their own community. This allows them to move toward self-sufficiency because they can generate their own income.
